Sounds decent for the price (15k), just add on a source (CDP,DVDP) and you are on. The Genie sattelites does very well. The sub is also good. If you are budget constrained and still dont want to go the mini-compo way, then this can be a very good solution. |

was thinking of using my philips dvd player (642k) as a source. Is that ok ? For FM i still dont have any idea where to source it from and plug it in Is the Mentioned Subwoofer good enough ? |

Its good enough, I tell you, its good for the price. Dont think of driving it to deafening levels. Its good for normal listening and also decent at higher SPL. Its a well matched system overall. Your Philips DVD player is good enough. Do listen to it....dont go by reviews only. |

For FM you can simply buy a portable FM radio for 500 bucks and attach it to your system. This supports mutiple inputs (sources) so you can have your FM radio as one of the sources. |

i do have a sony 2in1 at home... clarity aint that great in the tiny speakers... would probably use that. |
