Since square wave, and Kamal privately, has asked, here's a go at it:

Capacitance is a reservoir of energy. Since some is necessary in power supplies, why not have a ton of it! Sound engineering? In the real world, no. It takes time to charge such a huge reservoir - the inrush current must be huge! Add all the resistance of the caps; the stray resistance, inductance, capacitance of the wiring; and I'll bet the supply is more sluggish than the original!

This guy must have bought all the types of film caps he could find and added them on as bypass caps. He forgot about parasitic resonances, and ringing. Of course, you can't see it!

As far as damping the speaker cabinets and amplifier chassis goes, he's going blind. All he's doing is adding mass, and changing the resonance points. Of course, it'll sound different. Better - who knows!
