hello i'm hoping someone can help me here - my technics SU VZ 320 home amplifier has recently stopped working in the left channel in stereo - if i switch to mono both speakers work - back to stereo - only the right hand channel - it's not the speakers - cables or any connections - it's the amp - but what? can anyone point me in the right direction please? any help appreciated - thanks

Clearly, the fault is in the Pre-amp section .... and not the Power Amp section. Could be anything... a faulty interconnect ( between CD Player and Amp ), a broken wire in your integrated amp or an electrical fault. First of all, unplug & swap you Left & right inputs, from both, the CD player and amp sides. Same problem ? Then its probably an Electrical failure in the Amp OR THE CD player... ( try another source like a cassette deck ) |
