I am going to Mumbai this weekend and i really want to have some quality time on saturday

. Can somebody

Invite me for an audition? .I will bring my really good CDS!!!
Suggest a nice place to buy classical music CDS? or in fact good CDS...
Someone tell me where i can find sennheiser headphones and headphone amps.
I am also looking for to Hear the NAD C272/C252 are they available on demo?

hi sanathan,

for classical music for that matter any music try rhythm house. oldest guys in town and very knowledgeable staff. its in fort. well known. ask the cab guy. alternatively get off at 'fountain' and walk towards rhythm house. all old style buildings and lovely street side stuff. if you want to soak it in. 'play' at bandra has started stocking nad? check out the what hi fi issue or is it av max for the numbers.

I think LaKozy at Chowpatty stocks the Senns. Dunno about the headphone amps though but you could give em a try. The NADs, definitely! AFAIK they are the Indian distributors for NAD and PSB. Also try Sounsmiths at The Ritz Hotel in Churchgate. However, if you want to listen to some Cadence speakers with tubes (for your classical music) visit J & B Sound at Linking Road, Bandra. There's a guy called Jacob Koshy there. He yaps a lot though. But he's absent on most evenings (his helpers are around). You can demo stuff in peace then.

hi neutral. yeah i've never seen the nova audio showroom either. it's really well hidden

like shahrukh says go sniffing around there. i think it's on the first/second floor of a building near crepe station. better still call them.

Play at Bandra handles Hitachi projectors and HT along with Audio Analogue and monitor Audio speakers.

Sanjay is the guy to talk to there. Nice chap. Knowledgable.

Sanjay - Knowledgable ? I am lost; Some facts are a bit mixed up. Do shed some light.

But you guys pointed to the right shop, it is on the 1st floor, above HDFC ATM & Crepe Station. Behind Coffe Day is correct. Their telephone number is 26007700.
