Hi Guys !

For all Dynaudio Lovers [including me];

Dynaudio has launched a new speaker.
30th anniversary speaker.
Limited to 1 K pairs.
Comes in 4 different finishes :-

Bordeaux (Rosewood stained Birds Eye Maple)
Amber (Cherry stained Birds Eye Maple)
Mocha (An Espresso stained Birds Eye Maple)
Ivory (a Natural stained Birds Eye Maple).

The back section of the cabinet will be finished in a semi-gloss black lacquer.

Production will be limited to 1,000 (numbered) worldwide.

The Sapphire driver complement will be a conventional TMWW array of 28 mm 1.1") tweeter, a 15 cm (5.75") mid/woofer; and two 20 cm (8") woofers.

Pictures - Only a few I could locate !! Sorry.

Does this look like the Dynaudio Kraft ? Any one care to comment ?

quite a departure from their usual cabinet design..more in the category of Avalons and Eggleston works with B%2 like exteriors

Dear ARJ,
I may beg to differ;
This is what Dynaudio was all about !!
Their older Kraft looked just like this.
Let me try and find a picture to put up here.

Finally Dynaudio will do what it knew how to do best ! Really makes me happy.

Looks very unlike their current confidence and evidence lineups. I hope its good for the sake of the buyer. Its not cheap :Y.

hey bhagwan69, i honestly dont know much about Dyns other than their famed esotars.

Having been trying to google out more info on Kraft but not getting anywhere

did find some info on Facette..which seems to be on similiar lines though

Sir you are spot on !!!
The Speaker I had in mind was the Facette.
The Crafft is a Book Shelf Speaker.

So you see, Dynaudio has gone back to its old look and design. This new Saphire looks just like the Facette [1980's].
I would love to hear it, maybe it if comes to India, I shall or will have to wait until I can travel again.

I am sure it will sound good !!!

This was my favourite speaker. I would really have loved to have owned a pair, I even had the amplifier to drive it !! Never had the room to play it in though.
This is the Best that Dynaudio could have done or ever has done till date !!!

Hey egarding the Facettes they seem to have been with a shallow form factor, like the older infinities and newer high end Sonus Fabers.

Should do well in this era with focus on "Slim" towers..

BTW where Are these pics from ??
