Hi, I just got the sonodyne speaker package with the roar 2815 sub and I need some help setting it up. The Sub supports cross over frequencies from 50 - 150 Hz. whats the optimum setting for the xover frequency. My amp is a denon avr-1804 |

congrats trivi. i had some setup problems myself, but it has become better. first set the sub crossover to maximum so that u eliminate it from the loop. then try experimenting with the crossover settings(on the denon) from 70 to 120hz. see which setting sounds better. also play around with the phase settings to get the correct lows. all the best and happy listening. find out the -3 or -6 db frequency rating of your speakers and set the sub to cross over at that if you can for a start. then adjust to your liking. manek. |
