I suppose the first thing that one must take into account is that this is the very first issue and AV Max is probably not an adequate bench mark. Lot's in there, although one would have liked a li'l more HiFi.But considering the fact that A is where the market is...this is as good as it gets. The irritants - You would expect the a magazine like this would avoid silly stuff like spelling errors, reprints of the same feature twice ...and for heaven sake not in a magazine that is priced at 100 bucks. ![]() ![]() ![]() I also wish that had more prices featured.I also wonder to what extent that they will localise content.F'rinstance will they get down to ever reviewing local gear (atleast AV Max tried ).I certainly do not get that impression as they do not have a substantial local editorial staff. That's my take for the time being and I hope that they improve over time. ![]() What do the others, who have also picked up a copy think ? K |

regarding local gear, ultimately it will depend if the local manufacturers will advertise .... Unfortunately thats how most magazines work .Or so it seems Regadrding local reviews .my first question would be as to Who will do it ? unless the reviewer has some credibility the review might not really give you the required info. |

Sad but so true.Utimately it's all about where the market is. They have a chief editor for the local edition, but that's about it. |
