Oh, well it's not easy to get overly excited about this amplifier.

Just run-of-the-mill average Japanese 1990 "mid-fi".
9Kg of amp will give you around 70Watt in 8-Ohm and a lot of amp's from that period will give you that.

ONE good thing: The output-amplifiers are made with discrete components, and NOT with IC's.

Phono-amp IS with an Integrated Circuit (M5818L) and that could definitely be better.

Same chip used in the Tone-control circuit. Good idea..? I just don't think so!

Another BAD thing is that the Power-Transformer has a built-in fuse, non-replaceable, but only for the E-Model.
A special version of the amplifier was made for Germany and that has NO built-in fuse in the power-transformer.

Most importantly is NOT what I or other people think of this amplifier. What the OWNER/USER thinks is much more important. Does it give you pleasure to listen to it? If so, why would you need anyone elses opinion? If not, replace it!
