Well I think I am finally ready to let this go...

I have had this for about a year now.

It is the USB Chibi which was originally bought as a kit and assembled.

I will have pics up later. It is cased in the original case that Scott sells his with. The hole for the USB jack was not cleanly done on account of my amateurishness when it comes to case work..but it is not noticeable when the USB cable is plugged in.

Comes with the DC wallwart adapter and with Dayton gold plated RCA jacks.

Looking to get 180$ shipped.

Will ship worldwide..please PM for shipping info.

may I ask why you are letting go of this DAC? I thought that you were a fan of his DAC products?!

I have too many DACs..I have my ESI Juli@ feeding my other DIY DAC which I prefer over the Scott Nixon..but the Scott Nixon isn't too far behind though.

This sale is more of a feeler...I will only sell it at that price..if I don't have any takers< I will just relegate it to my office setup..

Just placed a parts order for a single rail regulated PSU..should make a nice upgrade from the SMPS wallwart I am using currently.

Also going to be placing order for a couple of blackgates to replace the output caps..

I remember a discussion on the The Buffalo32S DAC from twisted pear. I was on the site and it is still not up

. Any dope on what is happening ?
Have you tried any from twisted pear ? Opus ?

I think they are still sorting out the various details on that..diyaudio seems to have the most current information.

SInce the new counterpoint I/V is supposed to be released along with the DAC so it might be a while..

Btw anyone checked out the

Audio GD reference DAC 1

insane specs..looks very neatly laid out too..considering everything in that thing..decent price too

Okay..the DAC is back up for sale..I have other projects going and need to let this go.

I am going to take a hit and reduce the asking price to 160 shipped to India..155 if you want me to ship it within the US.
