The website of peerless india has been updated.It is not yet completed though...

Heard they are good.and from what is shown in the site they hv participated in CES 2008

guess they are the best option for indian made drivers.Keen kitts here in chennai supplies peerless india drivers.Their website does not give proper info but i gave them a visit and they had a decent collection of drivers.

for ur info- keen kitts is a part of torvin which uses peerless drivers in some their speakers.

How good are they??
I have decided to build a set of DIY speakers(preferably full range crossoverless)

I have hunted for budget solutions for a while now and dunno what to do.I looked at the TB W3-871 and the hi-vi B3s but shipping cost was a major hindrance.

Any advice on how to proceed???What are the options??Also saw a driver called "dainty" and a phillips full range here @ ritchie street...

interesting....saw the site.

hope the drivers are available for diy'ers.

most of the tabs in keenkitts seem empty....

Ya..their site is useless...but i gave them a visit and they hv a good collection of drivers...i am going to try asking them for the catalogue so i i can post it here...

peerless does not really focus on end users.. especially from their website. i could be quite sure of that.

I probably have the best sounding DIY made from Peerless drivers. It had shocked Manas Ratha, the owner's son as well as the owner of Sonodyne Annindya Mukherji. Manas wanted a pair for his own use, but I never got around making another one.

Would that mean they would sell off their stock for cheap ? :-)

No seriously....have heard they had a bit of problems but wasn't aware it was so serious.
