Hallo Leute!

Ich habe seit einigen Monaten o.g. Receiver. Bisher auch alles einwandfrei. Seit gestern bleibt er nach dem anschalten bei der Meldung "Welcome" stehen, wechselt also nicht mehr zum Eingangskanal. Ich kann auch keine einzige Taste mehr betätigen, nur aus und ein.

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Da ich jetzt mehrere Anfragen schon bekommen habe, hier die Info:

Das "Welcome-Problem" ist ein bekannter Produktionsfehler des CS-907. Wer noch eine Rechnung und Garantie hat, sollte schnellstmöglich seinen Händler zwecks Umtausch aufsuchen. Ansonsten Pech gehabt!

May I ask something here in English?

My problem is the following:
a multimedia shop from my country has these days an offer of CAT CS 907 receiver at an incredible price for our market, about 130€ + VAT 19% the receiver together with the speakers.
I visited them together and I have serious doubts about the origin of this equipment.
On the back of the receiver I can read CAT Sound Shanghai ... Is this a German company or else ?!!
Also the subwoofer box seems too light (5.5kg) and the box walls to thin for my taste. Also, on the back of the subwoofer there are only an autoadhesive sticker labeled CAT and a round printed stamp with Germany, but this could be applied by everybody, including the sailors on the ship that bring them from China :-))
Please, if someone who knows this equipment well, can help me to take a decision?

I don't know the equipment you want to buy, but it have
known Product-Failures.After some time in the Display of the Receiver stands "Welcome" and nothing works no more.I think it's better for you to look for an Second Hand Receiver from Denon,Yamaha,Onkyo and so on. In the other
Tread you wrote one guy wrote in the time he had Cat Speakers there was nothing nice to hear with it

Hi,

CAT is a manufacturer that sells their products in supermarkets. Normally they have to give you money for taking that shit instead of taking money from you.

hab' gerade irgendwie den WELCOME fehler ausgeschaltet it dem ein und aus knopf...also ich weiss jetzt, dass ich den reciever nicht kaufen sollte, aber ich hatte so viel spass mit WELCOME.

seit ein paar minuten bin ich welcome frei, und echt zu sagen, ich vermiss ihn schon irgendwie herhehehe,
aber am besten kommt er nie wieder wenn es geht...also was soll ich jetzt beachten damit er nicht wieder kommt.
ausschalten mit dem main knopf sollte ich besser nicht probieren wie ich denke.
was sonst - kann man mit dem fernbedinung ausmachen ???
oder sollte es immer eingemacht sein ???

ps. cs-907 begruessen uns auch im Polen
also schoene gruesse von mir - na ja - und von meinem Cat auch
