Speaker query for Onkyo AV Receiver

Hi all,
One of my friends has purchased one Onkyo 5.1-Channel A/V Surround Receiver ( Model No. TX-DS575X ). With the following specification.

5 x 130 W/ch, at Continuous 6 ohms, 1 kHz, EIAJ
Frequency Response: 20 Hz-100 kHz (+1 dB, -3 dB)
WHD: 435 x 175 x 390 mm

Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic
DTS®
96 kHz/24-Bit Audio D/A Converters
5.1 Multichannel Inputs for DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD
A+B Speaker Drive
Dual Banana Plug Compatible Speaker Posts for All Channels

He has one Onkyo DVD Player (Model DV-S535)too.

He has been looking for one good speaker set (5.1) in mid range budget. His preference is movie 50% Music 50% ( Old classics only)

Please suggest one 5.1 speaker system with availability in Kolkata in mid range budget.

from a spec perspective, it can drive any of the entry/mis level speakers
(this puts out approx 80-100 W at 8 ohms.. 6 ohms is a trick Onkyo uses to appear more powerful)

so the only constraint is the budget..to suggest anything one needs to what that is !

So are the JETA or DIN measurement ratings.. FTC is better

Speaker budget is within INR 50,000.

JEITA - Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association.

DIN - Deutsches Institut für Normung..

FTC - Federal Trade Commission are all organisations for instance, investigating issues raised by reports from consumers about false advertising and other forms of fraud.

The power ratings what you see are certified by these guys according to standards set by them..... FTC is more stringent and with specs measured with their pre set standards are specs beleived and accepted with huge pinch of salt.

DIN and JEITA may be better elsewhere, but audio standards just s*ck.
