According to the 15th July issue of Business Today, Dinesh Paliwal has been appointed CEO of Harman Kardon International! That sure is good news. With an Indian at the head of one of the largest audio maufacturing companies, can we hope to see more action in his home market? I hope so. Jeeves |

That is Great. Names of some Stalwarts in the Audio Industry, of Indian Origion, that readily come to mind, include : Dr Amar Bose BOSE Corp Mr Pramanik ( was ? ) - Head B&O Research. B&O had named a a moving iron Cartridge - 'The Pramanik' after him. Neil Patel AVALON Speaker developer ( I think he did this as an external consultant) Can other members please add to the llist ? Would be interesting....  |

Amp Nut the interesting and important aspect in this case is that Paliwal is a professional who was probably headhunted in the international market. He was earlier with ABB as President Global Markets and Technology. |
