Just wanted to introduce myself as I have just become active on the Forum. I am Sridhar (Sid) Vootla (sidvee) and am in the process of relocating from Detroit (US - Motown) to Pune (Indian Motown). I was referred this Forum by another esteemed member, and it seems that I have come to the right place (this forum seems quite lively).
Reason is, I have a raging case of audiophilia and would like to share my thoughts.
I am also a reviewer for Soundstage online magazine in the US - www.soundstage.com - and hope to review some Indian made components soon.
Regards,
Sid

Thank you all for the warm welcome, and thanks Kamal especially for referring me to this site. It feeld good to be home. Yes Amp nut, I will miss the fall in michigan, but I will definitely not miss the winters! if you know what I mean.
Once I get settled down in Pune, I hope to be able to contact some of the more popular and deserving Indian manufacturers and see if Soundstage will be willing to allow me to do some reviews.
I would request you to submit me some names and contacts.
So far I have:
1. Lyrita
2. Cadence
3. Rethm

Thx.

Welcome Sridhar!
This bunch of Indian audiophiles is a good bunch to interact with.
Lots of enthusiasm & willingness to try out new stuff. Most of, if not all of the guys, have an open mind.
There has NOT been any bickering on this forum so far. THANK GOD! And, the credit goes to the various forum members. I think that we make Manek's life quite easy here! I'm sure that he appreciates it.
We have some really experienced & well-travelled (in terms of audio shows) audiophiles that contribute.
I am sure that we will learn from your audio knowledge + your experiences as a reviewer. That reminds me that I should check out your reviews in Soundstage! I read that e-mag regularly but seem to have missed out on your reviews somehow.

BTW, IF I may ask, what got you re-located from DTW to Poona? is it a permanent shift or just a 2-3 year thing for a project? Thanks!
