was wondering how much the ma bronze b2 is. and where it is available in bangalore. could you please include the address and telephone number too? the amp i am planning to get is lyrita's mini valve 10 watt one.

other recommendations on speakers welcome

For MA products you can contact M/s Nova Audio, Mumbai, they are the distributors for whole of india. Phone 022 26007700. Mr. Sushil Anand or Mr. Sanjay Thakur can help you with the details. I would also request you to consider Monitor Audio Silver RS1 which is the latest version of silver series which is one step ahead of the Bronze that you are looking at. The reason why I request you to look at Silver series is for the extra refined quality you get from them over bronze.

thanks ani. re the silver rs1's how much are they? cos right now i'm on a real tight budget and am building my system around the valve amps. will upgrade in a year or so to a better speaker when money permits. had the cadence aritas in mind, quad 11 Ls so far. and in that range the monitor audio gold would then be affordable if i go by what hi fi price list.. would then get a higher powered valve amp in time..

for a 10 W amp you need to choose your speakers very carefully. maybe Lyritas own speaker make a better combination

I am not sure if the MAs bass response will be adequate with this combo.(I am not sure of this hence do audition that)

if you can take a look at the Infinity Primus.. i cannot help recommending this in a value for Money speakers ie if it is available in india.

But if you anyway plan to upgrade next year..do you really want to buy a relatively expensive Speaker ?

I agree with Arj. You could consider Viren's speakers as he has already done the hard work of matching his amps. And he has a range so you could upgrade with him.

arj, whathifi mentioned a price of 8.5 k which got me interested. i now came to know its higher

the ma's got a sensitivity of 90 so it seemed like a speaker to be auditioned.

yeah i guess viren's bookshelf speakers would be a good audition too. will check em out when its time to buy.
