Bose: Lifestyle vs Acoustimass

the lifestyle systems come with a CD/DVD processing console.

The acoustimass are just speaker systems.

Which is better of the two...look like its the lifestyle product.

is it good ? better look for something else....!!!
I just feel they are tsking the public for a ride...under the guise of technology. Any home theatre system of bose has a complete loss of lower mids....they all give me ear fatigue.

I have to agree with Manek.

I had a pair of simple Bose Bookshelf speakers, in my bedroom, back in the early 80's. They worked just fine.

I've heard just about all of their speakers.

In my opinion, their Floorstanders and their "Surround Home Theater" packages are horrible. Their " Bass Modules" are not even subwoofers. That's why they can't call it a "Subwoofer"; hence the " Bass Module" name. IMO, they make First Rate Garbage.

You could go out and get one of Athena's Home Theater Speaker Packages, for less money; and it will kick Blose's butt all over the place. Of course, you would have to buy a DVD/CD player and Receiver...seperately.

Do a lot of research before buying anything.

Buy what sounds good to your ears.


I can only suggest you look elsewhere, and I pray you don't get sucked in to the "Blose" scam.
