Chennai Meet

There are excellent musical events taking place in Chennai, like the Madhav Chari (accompanied by two French musicians) show yesterday. Chennai forum members do contact me so that we can go together for these shows.

Madhav and the French drummer were simply masters of their instruments. Their playing of the piano and drums appeared effortless. The bass guitar blended in beautifully making for a presentation with both sparkle and warmth. I could really feel the life - made me feel that I was in New Orleans with the black greats.

Unfortunately, I did not recognise the music pieces. I still have a long way to go in jazz.
