Dear all,

Thanks to you all I know what to do on Termination of my speaker cables.
The following question will come as a surprise for non cable believers but I want to try everything...in hifi

I want to find a reasonable priced speaker cable that especially known for its accent on transparency, high and mid frequencies. Rather this than a cable that puts more detail on bass.
I recently bought an xlr monitor 1202 cable (rae akustik) on ebay and it improved already (and my wife agrees ) the 'clarity' above a standard studio XLR.
What would be the best cable to increase this accent on soundstage and detail (with the kef's my system is already bass coloured).
Thanks
Bram

Not really.... , but it´s exactly what all of us desire...in hifi .

Anyway, my private Opinion is, that LS-Cables doesn´t sounds.

I think the black & white 1202 is an adequate LS-cable, but it´s to expensive and furthermore this cable is very inflexible.

But you have to come to a decision, if you disposed to spend so much money.

A good LS-cable without loss of sound will cost you less than 10,- € / m.

My alternative advices are a kimber 8 PR or SommerCable:

Thanks for the reply

Hallo,

now I´ve got it . I was confused by your description "B&W 602", because I thought it was a loudspeaker.

I don´t think there is a difference in sound of these cables, because I always think there are no differences in sound between adequate cables.

But when you believe in a different sound between cables, you can borrow the 1202 at a local dealer to compare it with the 602 on your equipment. That´s the only way to decide in this case.
