Dynamic Pearl speakers

Hello!
I'm sorry but I don't know German. A friend of mine has a pair of loudspeakers i've never heard about. They are Dynamic Pearl TL (transmission line) 3-way boxes and they was made in Germany. The drivers are maybe Vifa, but I'm not quite shure. I'v listened to them for a short time and pretty quietly because there is a little baby, but it seems to me that they are pretty good loudspeakers. They will be probably for sale, and I'm interested, but can't find anything about on the web. Maybe somebody on this forum can help me with some informations, I'll appreciate it.

Do you have any further information aboutthe speaker?!

Just to make sure: your transmission line speaker are not similar to

those, not even remotely?

Hi anymouse, the speakers are alike that black box on your link, but just one bass, and a wide rectangular TL hole on the front bottom. The boxes are deep, (regarding the tunnel inside) and about 80cm tall, and the terminals are cheap, round shaped lever connectors. The problem is, that the speakers are in another town, and I saw them just for a few minutes. The next week I'll go to see (listen) them again, but I hoped in the meantime somebody knows something about the brand "Dynamic Pearl". I'v found only this on the web:

I found, that the "Dynamic Pearl" label was the low end product part of IQ.
I found some pictures of IQ transmission line speakers, none 3 way with a single bass (

IQ 3140 AT,

IQ 4180 AT description in german).

Those kind still seem to go away for prices of 200€ and more (used and 15 years old).

Regarding the speakers: Remember that those "dynamic pearl" speakers would be someway "lower end" (but still (much) better than most modern low budget speakers

) and some years old.

I would also try to get a model or type number; I think, that they might be not dynamic pearl, but may be of the higher label IQ.

Resolution:

They might be still be good speakers, more so as you liked their sound. Given a resonable price and condition, they would be no mistake. Still remember that spare parts an replacement might be hard to find or not availible.

On the other hand, I would look for an other opinion
