Ob sich die Meinung von Vincent Teoh bezüglich HDR und Kinonorm nun ändert? 300nits als definierter Standard für das Kino! Grund ist, dass sich der Saal bei höheren Leuchtdichten zu sehr aufhellen würde und es vom Kinogeschehen ablenken würde, wenn man die Umgebung wahrnimmt. Wäre dann halt mehr Puplic Viewing und kein Kino mehr:

Hisense im letzten Quartal auf Platz 2 der Premium-TV-Verkaufszahlen, TCL auf Platz 3. Die XXL-Strategie klaut den Koreaner Marktanteile.

Chinese TV manufacturers are securing price competitiveness by establishing a vertical integration system for panels and sets and are expanding their premium business with mini LED and quantum dot (QD)-LCD products based on LCD technology. TCL, for instance, is increasing its sales of ultra-large TVs over 80 inches by sourcing LCD panels relatively cheaply from its subsidiary CSOT. Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have been enhancing their competitiveness in the TV market by procuring panels in bulk through group affiliates, a strategy now being emulated by Chinese companies.

According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, Samsung Electronics' premium TV market share (based on shipments) in the third quarter plummeted from 43% last year to 30% this year. LG Electronics, which ranked second with 20% last year, fell to fourth place with 16% this year. During the same period, Hisense's market share rose from 14% to 24%, and TCL's share increased from 11% to 17%. The shipment volume of mini LED TVs, primarily produced by Chinese companies, surged by 102% compared to the previous year, surpassing the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs mainly produced by domestic companies. The production of QD-LCD products also increased by more than 50%.

Man kann davon ausgehen, dass die Chinesen den TV Markt übernehmen. Sie werden es besser machen und günstiger herstellen. Egal ob PV Module, TV Geräte oder Autos. Die Chinesen haben in kürzester Zeit aufgeholt und danach wird überholt. Günstigere Preise, staatlich gewollt, eine Nation die hungrig ist und genau diese Mischung führt unweigerlich zur technologischen Führerschaft.

Dann ist der Titel „Nachrichten: Displays und ihre Technologien“ im Unterforum „Neue Technologien“ aber etwas missverständlich.
Da denkt man natürlich an „News über neue Displaytechnologien“ (OLED, MicroLED, QDEL, etc), was ja auch Hauptbestandteil hier ist.
Aber halt nicht an Nachrichten über TV Hersteller, die einfach nur einen völlig normalen neuen TV vorstellen, der wie jeder andere ist.
