Hi, First of all i am a proud owner of a 148,4 db on term lab polo

Let me explain the weekend.

It all started 2 weekends ago when i finialey got the time to start on my bass box. 3 cx12 and a 180l later i have a box built, (pictures will come of the box). the front is out of 30mm multiplex and the rest out of 19mm mdf. bass reflex with tunnels instead of tubes. the weekend is over and the box is finished. A VERY BIG thanks go out to andy for all the help over icq. to you.....

so the second weekend starts a little earley. thursday we take out the seats becouse there was no way to get the box in. to big... now the real works starts. 70mm² cabel from the front to the 2 hawkers in the back. minus from 2 points on the car 1 for the bats and 1 for the amps. from the bats to the fuse holder 35²mm cable. from the fuse holder to each amp is a 20mm² and the minus is 35mm². none of the cables have been laid that they look good, we set it up in 1 day just so i could drag over the weekend.

so saturday comes and i am kinda getting nervous. not real shure if i am going to make a ass out of my self or if my work will prove it self... . the saturday started out real nice a little cloudy but a lot of sun. go up to the starting line my bats show 13,1 volt not bad, (just a little info the radio was bought used and i had no idea how to set up the diffrent freq) cd in the radio pause and then let it go. i started kinda consertive and pushed it up to 30 my best was on saturday 146,2. on saturday i charged up the bats for 4-5hrs. after i did the first test me and a freind of mine set up the radio with evreything at 0 on the eq.

sunday morning, sometime around 0900 i woke op and heard the rain. . this is our vw meet and rain is something you dont want when you have a meet...
1000 they set up the stand to do the db test again and i try 1 more time. what happens 148,4 shit was i happy.

so my question is was the extra 2 db becouse of the rain and the humidity being high or the bats being charged up or just dumb luck??

any comment are welcome.

good score I hope to meet you soon and we will do something on your car 148.4 is for the first time a good score but you have enough potential to reach > 150

fuck the fuses and the protection system of your amps and you get some less tenths :D.... no, it was only a joke

2 db... i don´t know whats the reason was but not the rain. Maybe something you don´t think about There are so many settings / factors you get crazy if you have to pay attention at all
