Offizielles Firmware-Update Harmony 1000

Im Logitech-Forum sind die ersten User aufgetaucht, die die neue Firmware-Version 4.8.3 bereits laden konnten.

Offiziell wurde dies von Logitech noch nicht bestätigt und es gibt auch noch keinen Hinweis auf den entsprechenden Seiten (Web-Browser & Client).

bei mir wurde am Montag Abend die Firmware der 1000er auf 4.8.3 aktuallisiert.
Optisch hat sich nichts geändert, also immer noch keine Uhr. Bei mir stürzt sie jetzt auch nicht mehr ab wenn ich die Aktionsinfo einblenden lasse.

hört sich ja schonmal gut an.

Im offiziellen Logitech-Forum sind leider mehr negative als positive Dinge zu lesen (Abbruch während des Updates, etc.).

lies mal meinen Bericht im Harmony 1000 Betrag ...
Das aufspielen der Firmware ist durchaus ein Abenteuer für sich.

Bei mir hing es beim 4.8.3 Update immer an der Datei für Region 1.
Das ist mit knapp 4MB die größte Datei die geladen wird. Ich vermute fast das es da einen Timeout gibt der da rein schlägt.

Die 4.8.3 hat mich 7 Anläufe gekostet um sie einmal korrekt auf die FB zu bekommen.

So, seit gestern ist es nun also offiziell:

Firmware-Release 4.8.3
The following issues have been resolved with the release of the 4.8.3. firmware:
· The 1000 remote is freezing when entering or leaving an Activity.
· High pitched sound when the remote is powering up
· Optimized screen wake up rules to increase battery life.
· The 1000 remote stops communicating with the RF Extender and again asks to be paired with the RF Extender.

To take advantage of this fix, using the Harmony Remote control software, login to your Harmony account and update your remote. Please follow the instructions below to update your Harmony Remote:

1. Ensure that the Logitech Harmony Remote Software is installed on your computer.
2. Connect your remote control to your computer using the USB cable provided.
3. Login to your Harmony account.
4. Click on the yellow Update Remote button located in the top right corner of the Activities Home Page window.
5. Follow the update wizard instructions to upgrade the remote firmware and configuration.

Logitech has identified a very small group of customers could still experience freezing with their Harmony 1000 after applying this firmware update. If you do experience this please follow the steps below:

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Control Software
2. Login to your account
3. Click the Remote Settings tab.
4. Click the Display Settings button.
5. Select Hide under the Show Starting Activity screen option.
6. Click Save.
7. Update the Remote.

Könnte jemand von euch bitte den Thread-Titel anpassen (ich darf's nicht mehr), da das Update ja nicht mehr "geplant" sondern nun "offiziell" ist?

Ich glaube ich habe bei meiner Harmony 1000 Glück.
Das Update dauerte ca. 10 Minuten.
Dabei hatte ich keine Probs.

Aber die Uhrzeit geht wieder nicht.
Man Logitech das kann doch nicht so schwer sein.

Habe gesten die neue Firmware aufgespielt, war in 5 Minuten erledigt. Eine Uhr habe ich auch noch nicht sehen können.

was bringt sie denn jetzt so alles an neuen funktionen?

nur den abstürz fix und die festlegung der einschaltreihenfolge? oder gibt es sonst noch etwas?

nun ja das kann aber nicht alles sein, da hier die neue funktion der einschaltreihenfolge gar nicht auftaucht.

woran kann ich denn erkennen, welche firmware version ich überhaupt habe? weder die software, noch die 1000 zeigt mir das irgendwo an.

wenn mit dem high pitched sound, der fiepton beim aufladen, während die diashow angezeigt ist, gemeint ist, dann ist das zumindest bei mir nicht behoben worden.

... die ja auch in der Firmware nichts zu suchen hat, sondern in der neuen Client-Software zu finden ist.

Die sollte beim Aktualisieren der Fernbedienung angezeigt werden.

Auf die Anfrag eines Users aus dem offiziellen Logitech-Forum, wann es eine neue Firmware-Version für die 1000er geben werde, bekam er folgende Antwort (Auszugsweise):

heißt das jetzt entwarnung?? kann man die harmony 1000 jetzt kaufen, oder sollte ich noch warten???

Tja, die Frage wird Dir wohl niemand beantworten können.
Die oben beschriebenen Bug's sollen ja jetzt weg sein, ob und wann die noch bestehenden Bug's beseitigt werden, weiß niemand.

hi leute , koennt ihr mir sagen wo man die firmware downloaden kann? auf der logitech hp finde ich nichts ausser die software zum einstellen
