Building a Class AB2 Triode PP amp.

For long I was interested in building a tube-amplifier but I didn't really know how to construct the mechanical chassis. Then I was fortunate enough to gain access to a couple of Trumph-lasers. One for cutting tubes and one for cutting plates. Using Solidworks to draw the 3D chassis and to place parts before deciding on the final production proved invaluable. Moving parts have a big impact on how the amp. will look when it's finally built. Well, 3D made it easy and you may decide yourself if I was successful



I have a lot more pictures from the building process and of course full schematics. If you're interested I will post them. The amplifier turned out to be a real good performer. Since it is driven into Grid-1 current it delivers a rather high output: 12W/8-Ohm and 16W/4-Ohm

Tubes are:
Input pentode & Concertina splitter: 6AN8A
Cathode-follower/driver: 5687WA
Output Double-triode: 2C34 / RK34 / DET19 / CV18 (all the same)
