Hello, I have a record player Dual HS 132 and bought 2 loudspeakers Dual CL 138. I also got the DIN steckers and plugged it in with no problem. It works fine, however, I don't understand how the power is distributed to the loudspeakers without a power outlet. My question is, how does the power connects and can I attach the two loudspeakers to my computer with DIN to RCA and RCA to AUX adapter? Hope you can help! kikala5 |

Servus. The Dual Record Player has a built in amplifier. The Dual Speaker are passive, without an amplifier. This is not necassary, because the amplifier is built in in the record Player. If you want the Speakers connect with your Computer you need a seperatly amplifier. On Google Pictures i saw, that the record Player has a tuner and tape In Connector (at the backside). Is this right? Here it would be possible to plug in the Computer with the correct Adapter. Sorry, for my poor english. Greets Georg Edit: If there is a "line in" for tape or tuner, this would be the correct Adapter. [Beitrag von RocknRollCowboy am 18. Apr 2018, 19:31 bearbeitet] |

To RocknRollCowboy Yes, you are correct. Luckily the amplifier has a Tape and Tuner output. I will try the adapter. Thank you very much for the explanation and the advice. One more thing, I connected my phone directly to the speakers with the adapters shown above and the sound works, however, the power of the sound is really low and I understand it's because of what you explained. But, is it a problem to connect it directly? (Because of different power voltage or ...) Thank you once again, George [Beitrag von kikala5 am 19. Apr 2018, 12:22 bearbeitet] |

Servus.
I´m not a electronic technician. But I could imagine, that a damage can occur to your Handy. Speakers have a lower electrical resitance than headphones, which normally are connected to the Handy. So, the Handy has to deliever a higher current as usually. Perhaps, this can damage your Handy. But, I´m not shure, whether this is the truth. I would not do it. Gruß Georg |

Hallo ! The TUNER connector ist ONLY AN INPUT connector and the easiest way to connect any soundchip-output to the Dual hs138 using the right adapter. The TAPE connector is the DIN-version of the RCA-4-plug version. You can pb and record with an analogue recorder, e. g. tapedeck, MD-recorder and so on. Some RCA-to-DIN-adapters will not work because the internal connections to the pins are wrong. Plese connect only these DIN-plugs with the speaker cables coming from the amplifier-output. NOT ANY OTHER STUFF !!! Best regards, Erik |
